Methodology
So, to best explain, after another topic discussed the ability of toner to withstand sunlight, I decided to experiment.
You can see the results on the next page.
On March 10, 2012,  I took a paisley clipart and printed it on my beloved Xerox Phaser 8200. The Phaser uses Solid Ink Technology, think of a "crayon" printer, the colors are amazing.
So, after I printed the template, then I "colored" it in with a Office Max Metallic Marker, Koh I Noor Progresso Woodless Pencils and Koh I Noor Drylighter and various Fountain Pen Ink including Noodler's Bad Belted King Fisher.  (I think the burgundy is Swishmix).
Then, I scanned the doodle.

Next, I printed the scanned copy on the Xerox and on the Imagistics (Samsung) Laser Printer.  The prints were very nice.  The Phaser Print and the Original could only be distinguished by the metallic ink on the original.  I took photos of the three versions.

Then, I placed all three versions in my window and waited to see the results.
